I was originally going to write about simulation culture, and how the term “NPC’ has infiltrated many people’s worlds as a method to differentiate themselves from others who they deem robotic or even soulless.
Then I realized how obvious, and ridiculous, this sentiment is.
While many have found themselves entertaining this divisive thinking based off a silly meme (me included), I figured I would take a different approach, and attempt to reveal a deeper truth.
We all have some form of NPC in us.
We project onto others what we see as shadows within ourselves, and any unintegrated energies or denied pains will subconsciously become projection as a method to ease ourselves of this subconscious stress.
Those we see as NPCs are really reflections for us to ask what it is we are judging about them that we, on a deeper level, are revolted by within our inner world.
In the 80s and 90s, Dolores Cannon, through her remarkable methods, revealed the concept of “background people”, or beings who fill the simulative world we live in to create a sense of reality around us at all times. These beings actually have no reality, and are condensed from of energy to further cement us into this world of matter. (If you aren’t familiar with these concepts, you can search “Dolores cannon background people” on YouTube).
Her approach is a pure approach to these beings that appear human, yet have no real existence. There is nothing to project upon background people, as they do not exemplify any depth.
In many spiritual, alternative health, and “open-minded” communities, the shadow of one’s part in this shared reality has created an attachment to this idea of NPCs. Those that use this expression create a hierarchy where they are above others who are by their definition, close-minded, patterned, or enslaved to the matrix of societal ideas.
How fortunate we are that our lives can be so comfortable that we use technology to further our research and ostracize ourselves from those that are in a place that we once were ourselves.
In our disdain to those we call NPCs, we curse ourselves, and become an NPC in our own right.
We judge and differentiate, divide and hate, because we deny the idea that someone’s reality and world do not reflect one which we agree is permitted to live. We release chemicals in our body that make us react with anger and pride. We put an entire sector of those we share a species with in a lower realm in comparison to that in which we exist.
Kind of like an “NPC” does.
By acknowledging those which we disagree with with a label such as NPC, we divide our mind, and disallow our heart’s compassion. Whether or not that person is “right” or “wrong”, we create the existence of right and wrong, adding to the divide rather than acknowledging one’s right to be an individual human with their own free will.
The pain and suffering our lineages have experienced, and the awfulness humans exist in today at the hands of others is not acceptable, but we can still accept that we are all linked when it comes down to an atomic and subatomic level.
The pain this human creature carries in its cells are shared by us all, and rather than acknowledging and relinquishing that pain in ourselves, we choose to put others down for that which they have not seen within themselves yet. The outer examples of the others habits and tendencies are what we use to define them, rather than the Soul beneath these walls that were created to protect themselves. The less someone has been able to access their true power, the lower we rank them on the imaginary NPC scale.
We all know what fear is, and we all have been traumatized to some degree. So why is it that as many of us heal and go deeper within ourselves, our ego has the opportunity to take credit for the Soul’s workings? If we identify with the healing we have gone through, we will use that as a way to feel better about our ego self that hasn’t yet transformed by comparing our selves to those selves that still represent the image of unprocessed pain and emotion.
Why is it so difficult for us to simply accept that some people just want to live their lives, even if that means suffering?
It is not up to us to change anyone. We only have the power to do so within ourselves, and while we can act as an example that inspires others - nothing we do or say can actually convince someone to change.
An intervention may help the alcoholic acknowledge the change they want to see within themselves, but if they do not want to change it is a hopeless ordeal.
Life is amazing. The potential is there in every moment for us to access our Soul’s path and live in a way that benefits our reality and that of those around us in the highest. When we diminish the joy and peace of this very moment with wanting others to change, we ignore the changes within ourselves asking to be activated.
Wanting someone to be different, or grouping individuals into a clan called “NPCs”, turns us into the NPC, as we are not playing the game to our power - we are falling into the Hell that is unintentional thinking and action. We are choosing our ego as the rein holder in the carriage ride this vehicular flesh allows us to travel. When the ego reigns, it chooses the path to reinforce the idea of its existence every single time.
The ego is the NPC- can we truly guilt anyone for participating in an energy we all fall victim to?
The path paved by the NPC is one of shallowness, yet we can simply choose to not travel that path. We can accept the presence of the NPC without handing it out power, as it only exists based on the power we give it. The NPC within us is only asking to be listened to, but when given our power it wants what any construct of life wants - to be human.
How much power are you giving to that which simply wouldn’t exist without You?
I’m asking myself this daily, let’s see what happens.
Much love

The only return to Source is a moment
Yet most will conform to what’s less
Swarming to the best of what the world has to offer
Never satisfied, but forever relentless
There’s never a better time than the present
But how could anyone perform like pre-form?
The body feels sluggish compared to what’s formless
So why do we struggle when we ask for what’s next?
God is never hidden, it is us in denial
Trials of identity with a composed performance
Trying to become flow from a force we control
When we already know the only way is letting go
Compromise your definitions
Promises of past lives were meant to be broken
A new rendition that’s based on an old composition
Break down the meaning of the world that you’ve lived in
Contained by ideas when new thoughts will free us
Emotional resistance will continually freeze us
Allowing oneself to feel the pain of a memory
Clears out the fog between us and a new Self
Intentions mean nothing without integration
A journey within can be without realization
Flourish like fields of life in the sun
The seeds don’t need to be planted,
You’ve done what needs to be done
